Our project is an exploration of the struggles transgender people have faced from the 19th century to the present day. We are an all female theatre company who want to educate young adults on the struggles that are still happening today in the transgender community. The main themes and ideas we are exploring are body dysmorphia, nature versus nurture, and the science of the transgender brain. Throughout the piece body dysmorphia will be a running theme as this is what is diagnosed when a person says they are'Born in the wrong', leading on to explore the theme of relationship breakdown between family and friends.

We are here to entertain, educate and intensely engage the audience on this usually taboo subject. We will be using real heart-warming stories, to take you on this journey with us.
