Faux Pas Theatre are a five-piece company exploring false memory and its detrimental effects. Could you be lead into remembering an event so honestly, so vividly; when really it didn’t happen at all? The story of ALTERED focuses on the true story of Beth Rutherford. A young girls battle with her own brain as she discovers her past reality may not be as it seems.

Through this live performance, Faux Pas seek to promote awareness on this somewhat complex subject. By injecting comedy, we will ensure that exploring the strain on human behaviour when under the influence of authority, is both informative and entertaining.

Faux Pas will use an array of movement, imagery, music and poetry in order to provide a creative and contemporary theatre experience.
