The Venues

Hazelrigg House 

This late 16th century tudor town house is home to 2 of the 4 festival venues; The Basement and The Studio. It will also be the home of the festival hub, providing you with all the information and assistance you need throughout the festival period! The venue is also home to the Looking Glass Theatre. 

St. Peters Church

St. Peters Chuch is a small disused church within the centre of Northampton Town. Now owned by  The Churches Conservation Trust, This grade I listed building will play host to a variety of performances over the festival. 

Castle Hil URC

Castle Hill UNC is the largest venue at the Flash Theatre Festival 2016. This hidden gem right in the heart of Northampton, will play host to 15 of the 39 performances.

Getting to Flash Fest '16

By Car

As Flash Fest '16 is in Northampton Town Centre, there is plenty of nearby parking, and the town centre is just 15 minutes from J15 of the M1. 

Use the post code NN1 2RW, which will take you directly to Chalk Lane Car Park, Where your less than 100m from our venues!

By Rail

The center of Flash Fest '16 is just seconds away from the Northampton Train Station. Head out the train station and walk 100m towards the town center and Flash Fest '16 will be there!

The venues for Flash Fest '16 are all hidden gems of Northampton Town Center, and due to some of the venues being listed buildings, accessability can be limited. 

 

Both St. Peters Church and Castle Hill URC are fully accessible, being either on lower levels or having disabled lift access. 

 

Hazelrigg House does not have wheelchair access to the basement or studio. Our team will be onsite to help attendees who will need help with access to either of these venues, but we do ask that all accessability requirements are sent prior to your performance via our Contact us page. 

 

Please note: Hazelrigg House- the Basement is a very small show area and access is via a steep staircase. Performances may not suit people with claustophobic tendencies.  Ceilings in this area is very low, and guests are advised to exercise caution when entering and exiting the basement.
